NATIONAL COMPETITIVE EVENTS
FBLA offers over 70 different events to compete in. From Banking & Financial Systems to Website Design, there is a competitive event for everyone. Competitive events are split into two main categories, performance events and objective tests.

Performance events consist of events that involve public speaking, presentations, and projects. Most performance events allow you to work in a group of 3 or less. You're presentations and projects will be scored by up to 3 judges at conferences.

Objective test events are simply 100-question tests that must be completed within 60 minutes. Most tests can only be taken individually. Some tests allow for group testing of 3 or less, but also include a case study/role play performance section.
Some performance events require placement in the top 4 at RLC to compete at SLC (view the list here). You must compete in 2 national competitive events at SLC. You can only compete in 1 national event at NLC.
Use this quiz or the flowchart below to figure out the best event for you!
Note: Introduction events are only available to freshmen and sophomores, but they can also compete in any other event.
