LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES
FHS FBLA attends four leadership conferences each year. Learn more about each below!
SCHED
Sched is the scheduling app used for SFLC and SLC. Use this app to plan out which workshops to attend, competitive events to watch, and activities to participate in.
PROFESSIONAL ATTIRE

Professional attire is required for all leadership conferences, as well as some of our chapter activities. Please refer to this page for appropriate and inappropriate attire at conferences.
HOTEL CONDUCT
-
Follow all hotel rules and regulations as posted by the hotel.
-
No one may leave the hotel area alone or without permission from your chaperone.
-
Up to four people are assigned to your room. No one else should be in your room after hours or without the consent of all roommates.
-
You may NOT be in a room occupied by the opposite sex at any time or for any length of time. If you need to talk to them, you may talk to them quietly in the hall.
-
NO ONE BUT FHS PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED IN ANY FHS HOTEL ROOM.
-
NO FHS PERSON IS ALLOWED IN ANY NON-FHS FBLA HOTEL ROOM.
-
Fairfield students do NOT go to other school’s rooms.
-
All persons assigned to a room are responsible for that room. Theft or vandalism to the hotel rooms will not be tolerated.
-
Chaperones may enter room at any time. If you hear a knock on the door, look through the keyhole and make sure you know who is there. Immediately let the chaperone into the room. Chaperones have final authority on all hotel matters.
-
Be kind to others in the room. They might want to sleep and that desire should be respected. We are at the conference for several days – so get sleep – crabby members are not valuable to the group.
-
Lock the door when you leave the room. Don’t just set the door ajar if you are going to another FHS member’s room.
-
Act as guests of the hotel and conference center. Usually there are non-FBLA members at the hotel and we need to respect the fact they have spent money and need to enjoy their rooms.
-
If a Fairfield boy wants to talk face-to-face with a Fairfield girl or vice versa, they can be in the public lobby, pool area, or conference area (only if their chaperones know they are there), or in the hallway.
-
Delegates must obey the rules of these facilities. The facilities have the right to ask a delegate or delegates to leave. Do not throw anything out of windows or over balconies. Do not run down hallways. Noise should be kept at a reasonable volume, especially in the hotels. Remember there are other guests in the hotels who have rights as well.
-
Trash (this includes pizza boxes, bottles, cans, etc.) must be placed in the proper receptacles and not left on guest room or meeting room floors. Ask housekeeping staff for garbage bags. Individuals or chapters responsible for damages to any property or furnishings will be responsible for its repair or replacement.
-
Students will tell their chaperone where they are going, when they are going, who they are with and get approval before you leave. Text, call, or tell your chaperone in person when you have returned.
